Countersunk holes guarantee perfect fit of the mounting screws and the mounting tab gives you just enough space to install your transponder while limiting weight to a minium. Being stiffer than the kit plastic kit part, the carbon brace eliminates unwanted flex and ensures that your servo remains where it is supposed to be under stress.
