Ruddog Products 0523 - Infrared Thermometer

The new infrared thermometer uses a classic TO-4 thermopile sensor. This sensor is build from 116 little thermoelements with an active surface of 545 µm diameter on a silicium chip. The sensorelement absorbes the energy and creates with that the output signal.

Depending on the surface, the measured figure can vary even with the same temperature. Therefore the thermometer can be adjusted to different surfaces to achieve a more precise result.

​Measurement methods:

Allign the sensor (on top of the thermometer) with the surface you want to measure. Then, 

• Quick Mode: Press "Measure" 1x - the display shows the current temperature
• Scan Mode: Press "Measure" and hold - the display shows the continious temperature. Let go of "Measure" and the last measured temperature will show
• Max. Temp.: Press "Mode" 1x and hold "Measure". Let go of "Measure" and the highest measured temperature will show
• Min. Temp.: Press "Mode" 2x and hold "Measure". Let go of "Measure" and the lowest measured temperature will show
