The POM ring replaces the springs on the Tamiya Servo Saver and creates a more precise steering.

At the same time the ring does not influence the geometry of the servo as planned by Tamiya. This can happen with a stiff arm.

POM dampens a bit due to its rigidity. Therefore it can work as a saver in some ways. But with this ring you'll take away the main reason for a servo saver in making it very stiff - which can cause breakage.
