Product information "Kawada FOC14 - Spur Gear Set - 64pitch - for Tamiya Group C Chassis"

The Tamiya Group C comes with a main gear with a relatively coarse Tamiya gearing from the factory.
The possibility of using other Tamiya gears is relatively limited.

But sometimes you just want to use different gear ratios.

With this conversion kit you can switch from the Tamiya module to the much wider 64dp system - also known as fine gearing.

The set includes:
- Main gear, 64dp, 108 teeth
- Diff balls (now 1/8 inch instead of 3.0mm)
- Adapter for the shaft

Tip for the adapter:
The small white spacer adapts the diameter of the rear axle shaft to the gear. Unfortunately, no ball bearing can be installed in this size.
The adapter is already made of low-wear and self-lubricating POM. However, we recommend always applying a little grease here to prevent wear from occurring in the first place.
It is a good idea to simply use a little of the grease that is already used in the differential.
