RC MAN 30318TU - Tuning Carbon Conversion Kit - C-Pro - for Tamiya Group C Car

The basic basis of the Tamiya Group C chassis is very old. Nevertheless, around 30 years later, the chassis has found many fans again and is very popular.

Due to its age, the construction of the car is very simple and consists of simple materials.

...is that a reason NOT to optimize the cars and convert them to modern technology?

Definitely not... :-)

The C-Pro Conversion Kit from RC MAN takes Group C to the extreme.

There isn't much more you can do - at least not from a chassis perspective.

The C-Pro Kit takes over the front axle, the rear axle and the damper. Everything else is replaced.

The car then has a full carbon chassis, with a T-bar rear axle, with a carbon battery holder, carbon damper bridge and carbon body mounting plate.

The wheelbase of the finished car is then 280mm (long wheelbase).

This wheelbase is used by the Mercedes Benz C11 and Nissan R91, for example. It explicitly does NOT fit the Porsche 956 or Mazda 787B - the bodywork must be modified accordingly.

IMPORTANT:
RC-MAN is a VERY small brand.
The kit is therefore only for experienced model builders who are prepared to help themselves with problems without extensive instructions.
The exclusivity of the kit goes hand in hand with the fact that some of the parts are very special. With absolute attention to detail.
The quality is consistently good. RC MAN has the parts manufactured in cooperation with a renowned manufacturer.

ALSO IMPORTANT:
It is a bit difficult to understand what the kit contains because the manufacturer sometimes provides confusing information.
The FIRST picture in the shop shows which parts are included in the set.
The SECOND picture shows the installed state in which additional parts are used (Tamiya 51227 servo holder, Tamiya aluminum damper, servo saver, tie rods, black pre-production T-bar) which are NOT included in the scope of delivery.
The THIRD picture shows parts of the instructions and, at the same time, other optional tuning parts.

Please ONLY rely on the FIRST picture when it comes to the scope of delivery.

In any case, a Tamiya Group C chassis is required as a base. This conversion kit is NOT a complete vehicle.
