If you use this plate you can adjust the flex of your ARC R12 easily through various ways of attaching the plate to the chassis.

Test have shown, that if you attach the plate with the front screw (in the motor mount) and the third screw, the rear will gain more grip and the car is easier to handle. If you'll need even more traction, you can attach the plate through the rear points on the sides. As usual, test the various options and see which works best for you.
